GORE-TEX® PRO-SHELL is a brand new technology for clothing and KUSHITANI was the first to try it out. One of KUSHITANI's goals is to protect the motorcyclist against the elements and the weird temperatures, you find now-a-days. Because nothing is as unpredictable as the weather.
Thanks to the GORE-TEX® specialists, the GORE-TEX® PRO-SHELL is much more comfortable and it gives you much more protection, because of it's breathable and wind-and waterproof membrane. The GPR 5

The GPR series glove is back! And this time it's the best it's ever been. This glove features super soft genuine cow leather throughout the outer layers of the glove.Our revolutionary K-Foam at every impact area imaginable, and as if that weren't enough protection, a full Kevlar knit inner layer. The back of the hand features a re-designed "Action Pleat System" layout, using stretch stitch leather for maximum flexibility. Zylon Knit guards cover the fourth and fifth finger plus Kevlar and Zylon stitching ensure the strongest construction on the market. But don't let all of these hard protective features fool you. The GPR 5 glove is still one of; if not the most, comfortable racing glove your hand will ever fall in love with.

For double protection we inserted a K-Foam patch, which covers the velcro wrist belt.

3D pattern of the ring finger and pinky plus stretch panel of the palm guarantee both firm steering-hold as well as mobility.

Technology:

X Pattern - Kushitani's X Pattern in our race suits is a highly advanced design, often copied but never equalled. It is a Kushitani original design, which has been patented (Pat:905216). For the 1993 racing season Kushitani contracted riders, who tested the X-pattern suits with the outcome being a total success. We have modified this design several times over the years, each time with the riders' comfort and safety in mind. We now use Zylon Knit throughout the inner thigh area, giving even more movement and ventilation

ZYLON has excellent performance in such properties as creep, chemical resistance, cut/abrasion resistance, and high temperature abrasion resistance, which far exceed all other fibers' performance. It is 5 times stronger than carbon fiber, and 7 times stronger than Kevlar.

KUSHITANI Leather

All of our race suits are made of Holstein leather. The Holstein cows are bred in Japan specifically for Kushitani. That's our secret to making the leather so smooth and supple, yet EXTREMELY strong. Only about 60% of a cow hide is used for Kushitani's suit manufacturing. Only the most valuable parts of the hide are used to make the strongest and most comfortable race suits on the market.

K-Foam - The main purpose of a leather suit is to get maximum protection for your body. K-Foam is a shock absorbent material developed by Kushitani, which is made from a special acrylic emulsion. It has memory, which provides 100% restoration. It is durable and molds through body temperature to your body shape. The shock absorbing foam is built into vital body sections of the suit, including shoulders, elbows, and hip areas.
